The co-chairs of the Open Philately Commission attended the FIP Commissions’ meeting 6 February, Peter Suhadolc as a member of the FIP Board and co-chair of the Open Philatelic Working Group and Birthe King as the other co-chair. Birthe provided a brief verbal report of the work carried out by the Working Group.

A Bureau meeting with a presentation of the proposed new SREV and Guidelines took place on 6 February with about 40 participants, comprising of Commission Chairs, Open Philately delegates, and anybody interested in learning about Open Philately.

The FIP Open Philately Qualifying Juror Seminar took place on 7 February with about 15 participants. There were a lot of interest and enthusiasm for Open Philately at both meetings, also talking outside the meetings around the frames, although the class was not represented at the exhibition.
