HAFNIA 2024

The seminar, Thoughts on Open Philately, was well received by the attendees, most of whom were interested rather than already building or exhibiting in the Open Philately Class.

The competitive exhibition had 14 exhibitors in Open Philately Class with many new exciting exhibits spanning a wide variety of subjects. Five Gold medals were awarded, one Large Vermeil, six Vermeil and two Large Silver as well as four special prizes.

The exhibition was extremely well organized, there was a friendly and helpful atmosphere, and lot of space for collectors and visitors to sit down, rest their legs, and a chat and a cup of coffee, available fresh from two small coffee vans in the middle of the hall. There was an outing for jurors and commissioners, and over 3000 people attended the Palmares.
